I recently had the privilege of interviewing Darla Clement about her forthcoming memoir, The Moon Loves Me: Breaking the Silence.

Darla spent years as a journalist and photographer, learning to look closely at other people’s lives. Then illness took away her ability to write and photograph. What emerged from that silence was something unexpected: watercolor, memoir, and eventually a willingness to tell stories she had spent much of her life protecting.
